Selections from The Suttles Studio Series
Across decades of painting, Bill Suttles returned often to the sea — coastlines, harbors, and distant towns that shimmered with color and reflection. Many of these works come from his years painting around Folly Beach and Charleston, South Carolina, where rhythm and light meet the horizon. Others trace his travels through Maine and Mexico, revealing his painter’s eye for atmosphere wherever he worked. Offered directly from the Suttles Arts Estate, these paintings continue their journey — finding new homes with those who see the poetry in water and air.
These five works are part of this week’s Studio Series release. Each one reflects the living continuity of a lifetime in paint and collage.
Each work in this collection is part of an ongoing legacy—sharing art from the Bill Suttles Studio with care, one selection at a time. All works include the current 30% Legacy Estate courtesy.
