There is a moment in this work where everything converges—line, color, and intention meeting along a horizon that feels both constructed and discovered. Confluence holds that edge. It is not a place, but a meeting point, where the rigid geometry of drawn lines gives way to the openness of painted field.

The upper band anchors the composition, a deep, steady blue that presses downward against the thinner, brighter intervals beneath it. These horizontal passages—green, magenta, and pale neutral—act like thresholds, separating yet connecting the expansive planes below. The lines are deliberate, almost architectural, but they are interrupted, softened, and sometimes undone by the movement of paint.
Below, the surface opens into warmth—fields of peach and gold that carry the memory of gesture and revision. Vertical marks descend through this space, suggesting structure without fully defining it. On the right, sharper angular forms begin to assert themselves, as if the painting is testing the boundary between control and release. What holds it together is not symmetry, but balance—a quiet negotiation between precision and instinct.
