A Breath of Air

This pastel is titled A Breath of Air. One of the things lacking when looking at art online is perspective. This is one of the reasons everything my dad sells online is 100% Full Refunds, including shipping. Even when buying off the gallery wall, it is hard to gauge perspective -how the artwork will look on the wall where you intend to hang it. How it will fit in scale with your other paintings, furniture, room size, and lighting conditions? Even the distance from the artwork hanging on the wall to where you will be standing to look at it is critical.

Today I will attempt to demonstrate the importance of these factors by simulating as best as possible the distance from a viewer to the artwork here in this post online. I am showing the entire artwork, framed and unframed. I also show how the painting changes as you are further and closer to it.
