It is Way Back When Wednesday again. Last week I posted Varsity Number One. Today's post is a pastel done at Folly Beach, South Carolina.

Every year Pat and Bill would go to Folly Beach for a week or so to paint with a group of other artist friends. This is a pastel done by my dad during one of those trips. I do not know anything about it: its size, who purchased it, etc. All I have is this low-quality snapshot of it taken by him. I would guess the pastel was created in the 1980s / '90s.
